8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Brigham Young University Conference Center Provo, Utah |
This conference is for health-care professionals who work in hospice; who want to learn more about hospice (Physicians, RNs, Social Workers, CNAs, Administrators, etc.); and/or who are interested in earning CEUs or CMEs. (Continuing education hours will be available for physicians, nurses, and social workers). The conference is also for anyone who has seen the benefits of hospice through a family member or loved one, or who would just like to learn more. Our goal is to educate everyone about hospice and palliative care and why it is so important. We want those who attend to gain a deeper understanding of hospice and to learn something new about it. UCHC Mission The Utah County Hospice Coalition was formed by a committed alliance of local independent hospice agencies united in the quest to provide professional, quality care for every patient who qualifies for hospice and desires to have the care and support offered by this powerful program of services. We believe that every individual and family dealing with an incurable illness deserves the opportunity to make informed decisions. Our goal in uniting is to educate, inform, and motivate physicians, patients, and families to understand, promote, and utilize the invaluable care and resources offered by hospice. |
