Hunstman World Senior Games

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped with World Senior Games. It was a blast and a great learning experience!

For those of your who have never heard of the Senior Games it is an international senior sporting competition for both men and women ages 50 and older. In addition to athletic events, the Games promote health by providing life saving health screenings for cancer-breast and prostate.  Screenings also detect other serious health threats--glaucoma, diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and decreased bone density. Volunteer medical and nursing students assist with the screenings and generous sponsors provide diagnostic equipment and services.
If you are interested in learning more about the Hunstman World Senior Games or want to get involved next year, visit their website at http://www.seniorgames.net/.
